student ambassadors

Members of the Board of Education face important decisions on a regular basis and it’s important to take into account the feedback and input of all community members, including students. Toward that end, the Board of Education recently adopted a policy to appoint at least four high school students to serve as Student Ambassador to the Board of Education. The role of each ambassador for the Board is to learn about student opinions, issues, and concerns of the larger student body in order to provide students with the best educational experience while they are in District 200 and beyond.

At their November 8, 2023 meeting, the Board appointed the following students, who are all seniors, as Student Ambassadors: Jacob Halter (Wheaton North), Kailey McGady (Wheaton Warrenville South), Tomas Moran (Wheaton Warrenville South), Htat Naing (Wheaton North), and Ethan Spaid (Wheaton North). The District looks forward to providing a profile of each student on our social media in the coming weeks.
