At their meeting, the Board approved the purchase of Verkada Guest Management System as part of our commitment to ensuring the best and safest learning environment for our students and staff. After piloting several different systems at the District Office and two schools, staff recommended Verkada, a cloud based system. Beginning in early 2024, all school front offices will be equipped with a kiosk station that visitors to the building will use to check in (and out) and will require visitors to provide identification. The system also checks a guest’s identifiable information against various criminal databases.
