Rob Hanlon is a seasoned C-suite technology executive with a proven track record of leading large multinational organizations through growth, M&A due diligence, integration, and optimization, while successfully delivering strategic programs on a global scale.  

Rob earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 2000 and a B.S. in Computer Science from Taylor University in 1988. 

Rob and his wife Jodi settled in the District 200 area in 1990 specifically for the education their children would receive. Their two children; Quinn (1998) and Sydney (2000), attended Pleasant Hill Elementary, Monroe Middle, and Wheaton North High Schools.  

Rob was elected to the Board of Education in April 2017, elected Secretary in December 2018, elected Vice President in May 2021, and elected President in May 2023.

Julie Kulovits is General Counsel and Vice President of Legal Affairs for a national medical association. 

Julie and her husband, Steve, have lived in the district since 2016 and have three children in the district's elementary schools. Julie enjoys serving and giving back to her community, particularly at her children's school. She has also served on the City of Wheaton’s Community Relations Commission and other nonprofit and professional organizations.

Julie received a B.A. in Business Administration from Augustana College and a Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University’s College of Law.

Julie was appointed to the Board in August 2022 and elected Vice President in May 2023.

Dave Long and his family have been District 200 residents since 2007. Dave and his wife Jennifer have two daughters who attend and graduated from Wheaton North. Both girls attended Pleasant Hill and Monroe.

Dave is the Director of Finance/Controller for Wells Lamont Industrial, A Marmon Group/Berkshire Hathaway Company. He previously held similar roles at two other manufacturing companies in the Chicago area. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University, majoring in Accounting.

Dave’s most recent service includes membership on the Citizen’s Advisory Committee for the past 2 years and as a member of the Winfield Bikeways Planning Group from 2014 through 2018. He also served on the Winfield in Action Board from 2013 through 2016. Dave's favorite volunteer experience is assisting his wife Jennifer in the concessions stand at Wheaton North football games. 

Dave was elected to the Board of Education in 2019 and elected to serve as Secretary in May 2021.

Angela Blatner

Angela Blatner

Angela Blatner works in Early Intervention as a pediatric physical therapist providing services to infants and young children in their homes. Angela brings a working knowledge of the special education system and a passion for advocating for children with special needs--and all students. 

Angela earned her B.S. in Biology from Benedictine University, followed by completing a summer internship program through the Center for the Study of Children in conjunction with the University of Notre Dame. She began graduate studies in Human Genetics at the University of Michigan before attending Northwestern to pursue a graduate degree in Physical Therapy. 

Angela and her husband Pete have lived in Wheaton for 26 years. Three of their 4 children currently attend District 200 schools and one child graduated and is in college.

Angela was elected to the Board of Education in 2021.

Erik Hjerpe

Erik Hjerpe is currently Vice President of Supply Chain at TreeHouse Foods, a publicly held food and beverage manufacturing company. He graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in business, and from Keller Graduate School with a MBA and a MPM. He has worked in project management, information technology, and supply chain, within the automotive, consumer products, and food & beverage industries. Throughout his career, he has worked in Germany, Austria, China, and the United States. 

Erik has been an active volunteer within the District serving on the Citizens Advisory Committee for five years, and chaired the committee for some of that time. He has frequently volunteered at PTA events and has supported the Student Excellence Foundation and multiple booster organizations. Outside of the schools, he serves with and supports a variety of local non-profits with causes that align with his values and has been a disaster-relief volunteer for multiple organizations where he trades in his laptop for a chainsaw.

Erik and his wife Amanda have been residents of District 200 since 2013, and currently reside in Winfield. They have three daughters who attend District 200 schools.

Erik was elected to the Board of Education in April 2023.

Brad Paulsen

Brad Paulsen is an architect and Senior Vice President, Chief Development Officer at Wight & Company. In addition, as leader of the firm’s PreK-12 Education Group, Brad plays an active role with many school districts in the early planning stages of individual school design projects and capital improvement programs.

Brad graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies (1988); as well as, dual master’s degrees in Architecture and Finance (emphasis in Real Estate and Urban Economics) in 1991.

Brad and his wife Pamela (also President Emeritus of the Student Excellence Foundation) have been residents of Wheaton since 2005 and have two children that graduated from Wheaton Warrenville South High School.

He was first elected to the Board in April 2013, and served as Secretary and Vice President, before serving as Board President from December 2018 through May 2021.

John Rutledge

John Rutledge and his late wife settled in Wheaton in 1971 and sent their son to Lowell, Edison, and Wheaton Central. After a 31-year career primarily as leader of a team buying and managing investment real estate for bank fiduciary accounts, he established a real estate consulting practice advising private investors, universities, government agencies, and others on domestic and international real estate assignments.

John recently concluded ten years of service on the Wheaton City Council. He has served as a director, officer, and committee chair with professional and charitable organizations including Rotary, The Counselors of Real Estate, Illinois REALTORS®, Northern Illinois Commercial Association of REALTORS®, Chicago Farmers, and others. A past Scoutmaster, he currently serves on his church board and on the Wheaton Economic Development Consortium. Recently remarried, John and his wife enjoy the energy spilling over from their next-door neighbor Lowell School.

John was elected to the Board in May 2023.
