Physical Examination Requirement for Sixth Grade Students

The State of Illinois revised its requirements concerning student enrollment in public schools. Effective with the 2008-09 school year, students entering the 6th grade need to have a physical examination. However, there has been a waiver issued for 2008-09 school year only. Students who had a physical examination within one year prior to entering 5th grade in 2007-08, ARE NOT required to have another physical examination for 6th grade in 2008-09.
