I have been the social worker at Emerson since coming to District 200 in 1999. Prior to that, I worked as a child and family therapist for a foster care agency. I love working with children in the elementary school setting. I particularly value the opportunity I have to spend time in the classroom supporting the students' social and emotional development.
I have a B.S. from the University of Illinois, and a Masters in Social Work from Loyola University. I also attended Aurora University to obtain my school certification. I feel very fortunate to be able to use my background and training to help students reach their full potential at Emerson.
